Dr. Heithoff received his medical training from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his Internship at Normandy Hospitals in St. Louis followed by an orthopedic surgery Residency at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Mich. Dr. Heithoff then completed subspecialty training in hand surgery at Tufts University in Boston. He is the area’s first fully trained Hand Surgeon.
Dr. Heithoff is Board Certified by The American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He has been practicing orthopedic and hand surgery in Port Huron since 1985. Dr. Heithoff is the older brother of Dr. Scott Heithoff. He is originally from Iowa. He lives in Port Huron with his wife, Jane and their two children.
