A native of Bay City, Michigan, Dr. Kowalski is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist. He joined Orthopedic Associates of Port Huron in 2012.

After completing his bachelor of science in biology magna cum laude at Alma College in Alma, Michigan, Dr. Kowalski received his doctorate of osteopathic medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. He then completed internship training at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Dr. Kowalski underwent residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and accredited fellowship training in interventional pain management at the Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Kowalski scored in the top 7% of the country on the pain medicine board exam, and is the top trained pain management specialist in our area.

Dr. Kowalski is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology/Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Pain Medicine.

When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Kowalski enjoys exercising, boating, and reading.
